Clement Photography bio picture

Welcome to Clement Photography!

Thanks for stopping by!  We are two photographers with one one mission, and it is to capture the images you, your family, and your friends will love.  It's a simple philosophy that works.  Whether we are capturing a special day, a newborn child, a family, or two people in love, that mission pays off for our clients.  Simply put, our job is to make you look good.

Clement Photography provides high quality, yet affordable services.  For weddings we combine a photojournalistic approach, with a more traditional method.  This allows us to "tell" the weddings story, as well as capture those important formal pictures that family and friends love. ALL weddings are shot as a team to help capture every moment.

We also love to get outdoors for portraits, because nothing can replace the beauty of natural light.  We have many varied locations we like to use for portraiture, from fields and creeks, to parks and meadows.  If you have a favorite location, we will be happy to photograph you there as well.  Many of our locations are usable year around, but we use some only in the fall or spring.  We will make sure you get the exact look you want to fit your unique personality.

Thank-you,

Ben and Amanda Clement

Please note: Since we have changed to the new site, we are adding our older pictures slowly, so please be patient.  We may also add some images in a kind of “sampler” gallery containing more than one group of people.

Great People

Amanda and I were both really excited to photograph this family.  They are great people who were so much fun to work with!  We hope to work with them again soon.

Sarah and Ryan Engagement Session

Here is a recent session we did for Sarah and Ryan.  They brought along the cutest little girl ever with them, and she helped add some real fun to the session and to all the images.  Sarah and Ryan are among some of the most photogenic people we have ever worked with.  Almost every shot we took of them came out great.  Now I’d like to think that it was because of the photographers, but I know they had the biggest role in that!

Meredith and Geoff’s Wedding

Here are just a few of the images we took for Meredith and Geoff.  They got married at the Santa Barbara Court House in a beautiful room filled with huge painted murals of California’s history.  The judge that married them even let a secret or two about them out, you should have seen the look on the face of the mother of the bride.

Mother and Daughter

Dianne and Rayanne are two of the prettiest people I know and I was excited to get to do a portrait session with the two of them.  The results came out wonderfully.  The two of them were perfect subjects, and considering I made them get up and be ready to go by 7:00am…. they were also good sports!

Jason and Stacy Engagement Session

Jason and Stacy recently got engaged, and they are two amazing, and fun people.  They had gone out to a concert the night before and I was worried they would look tired in the final images, but they were gamers!  They met us bright and early and they were ready to go.  You could tell by their interactions that they are very much in love with another.  To a photographer that can chemistry can make a huge difference in the final image quality… I think all will agree they have “it”.

A “Sample” of a Few Weddings

Below are some images from weddings done in the past.  This is just a “taste”.

Yosemite Landscapes

Amanda and I made a trip to Yosemite last winter and spent and entire day taking landscapes.  We hiked all over the place and my feet were soaked by the time we finished, but we had taken some great shots and it was worth it.  Besides, after that long day we took refuge at a suite at the Pines Resort on Bass Lake.  The fire and hot tub made me forget all about those cold feet!
