Are you the only photographer in this company? If I hire you, am I guaranteed that you will be the one showing up to shoot my wedding? If yes, can I get that in writing? Answer: Yes – My wife and I own the company and are its sole photographers, we always shoot as a team for events, it’s in the contract.
Is the work that I am seeing all yours and only yours or is it a compilation of work from more than one photographer? Answer: You are seeing only the work of two photographers, both of whom will photograph your event, and both of whom own the company.
Can you show me samples of complete weddings you’ve done? Answer: Check out the portfolio page of the site.
Do you offer traditional wedding photography? Photojournalism? Or both? Answer: We combine the approaches, to “tell” the story, as well as to capture those important pictures that family and friends love.
Is color and B/W photography included or is there an extra fee for B/W? Answer: We will convert ANY image into black and white, sepia, or toned, at no extra cost.
Is unlimited coverage included in your packages or is there an extra fee for all day coverage? Are you willing to come extra early to get shots of us (the couple) before the ceremony if we choose to do that? Would there be a fee for this? Answer – We offer all day coverage at no extra cost in all but our bronze level package, we will be where you need us, when you want us there… period.
Do your packages include one or two photographers and is there an extra fee for a second photographer?
Do you work with an assistant? Answer – You always get two photographers (included), and you will get to meet us both prior to the event. We may work with an assistant if the wedding is very large, but that will be included in the package.
How many and what kind of cameras do you use? (Do you have backup equipment if something breaks?) Do you use film based or digital cameras or a combination of both? Answer – We shoot with both Canon and Nikon Pro level Camera’s. While we have never needed to use a backup, they are available and with us if a problem arises. ALL of our photography is digital.
How far will you travel to a wedding before charging a travel fee? Answer – Up to 150 miles, round trip, but this is negotiable.
Do you charge a fee if the wedding and reception are in more than one location? What if we want to go to a third location for pictures? Is there a charge for this? Answer – No extra fees for different locations as long as they are reasonably close, just make sure you budget time into your schedule for the pictures.
Do you offer a website and CD of my images? If so, is this included in the packages or this is an extra fee? Answer – Both are included with any of our packages.
If your packages are not what I am looking for, would you be willing to try to customize a package for me that is within my budget? Answer – Everything is negotiable, we will work with you to get the product and services you need and want.
Do you offer only traditional albums or do you have a wide variety of options to choose from including any coffee table style books? Answer – We have a wide variety of books, albums, framing, and matting available to us. We will show you our many options when we meet. Many of our most popular items are included.
